The rooms were way over priced and there were bugs all over. Would never stay there again!!!
Now closed and for sale. No plans to reopen.
This hotel was a dive...They are trying to "update" it however it did not keep me from getting mold poisoning from staying there. The State Health Dept investigated it and they admitted to having issues with the room I had been in and that they had to gut the room and replace the AC unit. Stay at your own risk.
Crosby is a boom town, & it isn't fair to hold that against the GH. The management folks were very nice and friendly. The hotel is booked solid with oil workers - they all get up at 4 am and are gone all day. But don't be surprised when 400 dudes show up in white pickups at 6 pm. The parking lot was a mud-pit while we were there -- a normal car probably couldn't even get through it. The rates were very high for a kind of dingy old small-town motel; but they can charge whatever they want. It would be nice if some of that $$ would go to updates, replacing carpet, paving the lot etc. It isn't terrible. The rooms were decent and the cleaning staff did a good job. But it isn't awesome either. Oh, and they allow dogs for a small extra fee, which I really appreciated.
